SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- A pair of Blair High School students became sick last month after they allegedly ate pot brownies on campus.

Montgomery County police have charged William Keysar, an 18-year-old senior at the high school, with several charges, including distribution of a controlled dangerous substance on school property, after he allegedly gave the students the brownies.

The two students who ate the brownies also face disciplinary actions.

According to school officials, the two students reported feeling dizziness and an elevated heart rate after they ate the brownies. They were transported to an area hospital and later released.

Montgomery County Public Schools put out the following statement in relation to the incident:

“This matter was immediately referred to police who investigated and charged the student. We've also addressed it as a disciplinary matter with the students involved.”
